Alola Trainers! Old friends return & new friends join the adventure! Journey Together is the latest Pokémon TCG Live set, and with it, Trainer’s Pokémon are back! N’s Zoroark ex, Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Iono’s Bellibolt ex, and Hop’s Zacian ex are here to shake up the format!
N’s Zoroark is probably the most awaited deck from the set! It’s an awesome all-rounder deck that can deal with a lot of different situations, and we can’t wait to see what our trainers can achieve with it. The deck has 3 key pieces. First comes N’s Zoroark, our main attacker and our draw power. Its ability, Trade, allows you to discard a card from your hand to draw 2 cards from the deck, and its attack, Night Joker, allows you to choose one of your benched N’s Pokémon attacks and use it. This means that we can use our second piece, N’s Darmanitan attack. Blaze Ball Cannon does 90 to the active and 90 to the bench, just like Moonlight Shuriken. The Final piece is N’s Reshiram, with Virtuous Flames doing 170 damage. We can start damaging the active or take out a small support Pokémon. And with Powerful Rage, which does 20 damage for every damage counter on it, we can secure a huge OHKO once we have enough damage racked up!
Journey Together also brings cool new pieces for existing decks. Lillie’s Clefairy ex can fit into many Tera decks as a backup attacker. Hop’s Cramorant is an incredible One-Prizer that you can tech-in to force a 7-prize game. Speaking of Hop, Hop’s Zacian ex can be an alternate attacker for your Archaludon ex deck. Ruffian and Redeemable Ticket are two great new weapons for any Control deck. Honorable mentions include Levincia, which could be useful in Raging Bolt decks, Iris’s Fighting Spirit can be a good alternative Draw supporter if you don’t mind discarding a card, and Brock’s Scouting can be great in many bench-intensive decks. There’s a ton of options waiting for you!
