Phantasmal Flames, the latest Pokémon TCG set comes with powerful new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, including the awaited return of fan favorite Pokémon: Mega Charizard X ex and Mega Gengar ex! The star of the game has a new highly-competitive entry with Mega Charizard X! It’s attack, Inferno X, deals 90 damage for each Fire energy you discard from your Pokémon in play. We can easily put energy into play with Oricorio ex’s Excited Turbo as often as we’d like. Making the deck super powerful and consistent. We are definitely seeing this deck pop-up in future tournaments. Next up, we have Mega Sharpedo ex, it’s fast and can pack a punch with Hungry Jaws. But it becomes even better when it only gives 2 prizes in return when it’s knocked out. All thanks to Mega Gengar ex’s Shadow Hiding. The new Ceruledge is a fun new addition to the Ceruledge ex deck but can also be played on its own. It does 220 damage for a single energy but you have to discard 4 Fire energy from your hand to use it. This is great when we have Superior Energy Retrieval to recycle the energy right back to the hand. Mega Diancie ex is a new attacker for the Gardevoir ex deck. For 2 Psychic Energy it does 220 damage! Last but not least, Mega Heracross ex is a fun new attacker that can benefit from Meganium’s Wild Growth. You can thin out resources from your opponent’s deck with Mountain Thrust and if your opponent makes the mistake of hitting you, you can return that damage + 100 more with Panzer Horn! So many new good cards are sure to shake up the meta!
