Pikachu is Everywhere!
What’s poppin’ Po Town readers? It’s ya boy Zach Lesage (@ZachLesagePTCG) and I’m here to celebrate an iconic character, Pikachu! Pikachu has been there from the very beginning - cartoons, video games, lunch boxes, and it’s here 25 years later with many versions to play with! If you’ve recently jumped into the game with the nostalgia-fueled release of Celebrationsor you’re a huge fan of this red-cheeked mascot, this article will bring the thunder! I’ve been inspired by the classic remakes of Flying Pikachu, Surfing Pikachu, and the fan-favorite Pikachu V-Union (Sword and Shield Promo). This article will share my lists for each of these decks, share their strategy, and have some fun with these decks! These decks might not be as impactful as Dragapult VMAX (Rebel Clash) or Single Strike Urshifu VMAX (Battle Styles), but they each seem decently viable! If you’re missing any of the cards to build these pokemon decks online, you should totally pick up some PTCGL codes to try them out! Po Town has a large selection of PTCGO codes and you can get them emailed to you very quickly! That being said, let’s learn more about Pikachu!

Building on a Budget
Hello everyone! This is Elena from Gaia Storm, and it is a pleasure to be here once again at PoTown’s home! After some weeks of play-testing the new 2021 Standard format, I must say that it’s been a while since I last enjoyed the game as much as I am doing now. There are so many different viable options that you can currently bring to a tournament - something that was not common last year- and there is no Tier S deck that feels completely unbeatable. This variety is key to a creatinalthy and welcoming environment, but sometimes new players can feel a bit overwhelmed with the number of available options. Today, we are going to be looking at three inexpensive decks that will give you a lot of chances against most of the current strategies you could potentially face.

Sylveon VMAX can it be BDIF?
Aloha Trainers! It’s time to rise up and embrace our VMAX overlords, as most pokemon online decks seem to be revolving around these high HP Pokemon. Most decks are just exchanging blows with each other, with weakness being the main differentiator between Goliaths. With each meta evolution, there seems to be a new popular deck each week that seems to be doing well. I was getting sick and tired of losing matches due to weakness and realized that was one of the keys to this format: OHKOs by hitting for weakness. Either that or lack of weakness to the opponent! Both strategies work, however, no matter how skilled you are, your attacker will always have a typing-weakness so your best bet is to get around that by playing a toolbox of various attackers. Sylveon aims to do just that in a very colorful way – it abusesFighting, Fire and Psychicattackers to leverage hitting for extra damage on the opponent’s Pokemon. Let’s highlight Sylveon VMAX today and chat about why it’s my favourite deck right now!

Jolteon VMAX Zaps the Competition
What’s up PoTown Store readers? Have you been keeping up with all of the amazing pokemon online decks in our new format? To keep everyone up with what’s going on in the game, we’ve recently had our yearly Rotation, and have said goodbye to some awesome cards from Team Up to Cosmic Eclipse. That being said, we’re now in our Post Rotation filled with cards from Sword and Shield to Evolving Skies cards. Evolving Skies, our newest set, has offered our Pokemon TCG metagame many new decks to play with. Most notably, many of the new “Eevee”-lution Pokemon are powerful and dominating the top tables. In this article, I’ll be going over Jolteon VMAX (Evolving Skies), and sharing everything I know about the deck. The origins of the deck, the best lists available for the deck, the strategy, and matchups. If you’re looking for any cards to build this deck on PTCGO, be sure to pick up some PTCGO codes right here at the PoTown store. Let’s look into the origins of this deck.

Regidrago One-Prize Wonder
Good morning trainers! It seems that the metagame has progressed since our last expansion, Evolving Skies has been released. VMAXs are the main constant taking place right now, followed closely by Pokémon V in an effort to trade positively and ultimately win the game before opponents can. With that being said, where are the single Prize Card attackers? In our previous format, we had Blacephalon UNB as a prime example of a mainstream single Prize Card attacker; now, we don’t really have this category existing. It seems that they’re being overlooked because they aren’t as consistent as V or VMAX pokemon online decks, but this isn’t always the case. Pokémon V decks are the new “single Prize Card” decks now, and they’ve phased out single Prize card attackers. Right now is a very interesting time to actually play one Prize Card attacker because they are the most efficient at trades. If you’re able to OHKO a VMAX Pokémon with a single Prize Card attacker, you’ll go up +2 Prize Cards in the trade. One of the best decks that can do that right now is Regidrago. Let’s get into why I think this deck could potentially do some damage in this format!

Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX is SNIPE-Tastic
What’s poppin’ Po Town readers? It’s ya boi Zach and I’m back with another Pokemon TCG article to share the best decks in the format. Today it’s going to be Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX (Battle Styles) - one of the best Pokemon online decks in our Sword and Shield to Evolving Skies format. My goal with this article is to explain where the deck is at, some amazing lists, sharing the strategy, and explaining the matchups. By the end of this article, you should have a solid understanding of this archetype and maybe you’ll even want to play it on PTCGO too. If you’re missing any cards for this deck or if you need to fill out your collection, feel free to pick up some PTCGL codes right here at PoTown Store.

Win More Post Rotation Games
What’s up Po Town readers? Have you been exploring our new Post Rotation Sword and Shield to Evolving Skies metagame? I personally have been grinding games on the Versus ladder on PTCGO, recording lots of content for my YouTube Channel, and trying to find the best decks to play with. I’ve been on a tear writing as many articles to share my findings on most of these decks right here at Po Town, but this article is a little different than most I’ve written so far. This article will focus on the single most important aspect of this format and it’s something that affects every single person playing the game. We’ll dive into that throughout this article and I’ve found a handful of solutions that might just work. Oh, and a bunch of decklists is included too. If you find yourself missing any cards for these decks or you wanna fill up your collection, be sure to pick up some PTCGL codes right here from PoTown Store. There are lots of great codes to choose from and instant email delivery comes with every purchase. That being said, what is the problem with this format???

Shadow Rider Calyrex Races to the Top
What’s up Po Town readers? Have you been playing with the new Evolving Skies cards yet? I certainly have and I’ve been having a blast. In our new Post Rotation Sword and Shield on format, plenty of new pokemon online decks have started to make their mark - Jolteon VMAX (Evolving Skies), Umbreon VMAX (Evolving Skies), and even Ludicolo (Evolving Skies). While it’s usually the case where most players love to flock to the newest available decks in the format, I’m letting you all know that Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX (Chilling Reign) is the best deck in the format! Yeah, it’s truly a bold claim, but it seems like the only deck that has a comeback mechanic, in the form of Cresselia (Chilling Reign), that allows you to get around the dreaded starting coin flip. There is a lot of ground to cover so let’s start trotting.

What’s up Po Town readers? Your boy Zach is here with another awesome article about “Eevee”-Lution Pokemon! I previously wrote about half of the “Eevee”-Lution Pokemon here Exploring “Eevee”- Lutions Pt.1, but there are so many of them that I had to write this article too! Some of these concepts might be more playable than others, but my goal with this article is to share a few awesome ideas that could work in these “Eevee”-Lution themed pokemon online decks. If you’re missing any cards to build these decks or you’re trying to fill in holes in your collection, there is a great selection of PTCGO codes here at PoTown Store. “Anguish Cry” - The Best Single-Prizer is Spiritomb!
Good afternoon Trainers! I hope you’ve enjoyed the summer and have had the opportunity to partake in some online events. They are hosted over at play.limitlesstcg.com and require you to have a PTCGO account (with an online legal deck). These online cards can be opened within packs that can be redeemed via codes; Potown Store sells these codes, which you can find here at www.potownstore.com. These tournaments are very fun and will help prepare you for when tournament play resumes once again! Just be sure you have all the cards necessary, so pick up some PTCGO codes today to ensure your deck is ready to go.
Speaking of Limitless Online Tournaments, there was a very recent ChillTCG Invitational event that took the best performing players throughout the ChillTCG regular season and pitted them against each other in a very prestigious face-off! One of the most interesting Pokemon online decks that made Top 4 includes Angel Aranibar’s Spiritomb deck, which I believe is the best Single-Prizer in the format. It hits key Pokemon such as Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX for weakness and can trade efficiently with most other VMAXs and Tag Teams. It is also wildly consistent and has niche cards included in its skeleton decklist; these niche card inclusions, such as heavy counts of Escape Rope, can give us uniquely positive matchups and outs to situations that would normally seem helpless. Let’s hop into the strategy and list!
