Countering Mew VMAX

It seems like you either love or hate Mew VMAX at the moment, and if you’re the latter, then this deck will be for you.

Duraludon VMAX is Actually Good Now!
What’s poppin Po Town readers? It’s ya boy Zach and I’m here to share my newest findings from our Fusion Strike Pokemon TCG metagame! The deck we’re gonna look over together is Duraludon VMAX (Evolving Skies), the Skyscraper Pokemon! I often make jokes about this Pokemon being part Dragon and part hotel, but it is 100% a valid choice nowadays! This deck focuses on using it’s Skyscraper Ability to prevent damage done by your opponent’s Pokemon that have Special Energy attached. Looking at the other top decks in the format, Jolteon VMAX (Evolving Skies), Mew VMAX (Fusion Strike), and Single Strike Urshifu VMAX (Battle Styles) all play Special Energy in their deck. Think about it for a second… Rapid Strike Energy (Battle Styles), Capture Energy (Rebel Clash), Fusion Energy (Fusion Strike), Single Strike Energy (Battle Styles), and Speed Lighting Energy (Rebel Clash) are all heavily featured in the top decks right now! So if you want an interesting choice that can handle the metagame, Duraludon VMAX can seemingly handle it all. If you need any of the cards to build this deck, be sure to pick up some PTCGO codes from PoTown store to get quick access to codes. To start things off, let’s look at the list that really sparked things for this deck!

Suicune/Ludicolo Storms the Meta!
Alola trainers! Winter is here in some places but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a bit of fun by the water. My name is Acro today we are going to explore my favorite deck in the meta, Suicune/Ludicolo! This is an amazing deck that does not rely on any VMAX Pokémon, meaning we will force our opponent to go through 3 Suicune V (EVS 31) to win the game while our damage output can easily two-shot or even one-shot opposing VMAX Pokémon.

Single Prize Card Attacking Decks
What’s poppin’ Po Town readers, it’s ya boy Zach, and I’m back with another article! I usually do my best to write about the top-performing decks in the format, but this article is a bit different. As I continuously test Fusion Strike decks, there have been a handful of decks that have caught my eye! Some of those decks feature powerful Pokemon, like Rayquaza VMAX (Evolving Skies), some feature underrated Pokemon, like Gengar VMAX (Fusion Strike), and some feature disruptive strategies, like Yveltal (Celebrations). The decks that I’m going to feature in this article are all Single Prize Card Attacking Decks, and they’re all incredibly fun to play! Some of these decks, like Obstagoon (Fusion Strike), are able to compete with the best decks in the format and other decks, like Boltund (Battle Styles), have truly unique strategies. Most of these decks are very budget-friendly and have a lot of unique cards inside of them! If you’re looking for any of the cards for these decks, consider picking up PTCGO codes right here at the PoTown store! There is a large selection of many PTCGO codes and they’re emailed right away! I don’t want to wait any longer, let’s jump into the first deck I’m featuring! Let’s get it!
