Welcome to Lost Origin - our newest Pokemon TCG set in Standard! I’ve been grinding the trades, ripping open packs, and playtesting this format with my friends extensively, and I’m so excited to share my favourite decks with you! Most new sets will introduce one or two new archetypes, a handful of techs for pre-existing Pokemon online decks, and some cards that will leave you scratching your head. Lost Origin takes that to a whole other level - there are multiple new archetypes, so many unique cards to add to decks, and a whole new Lost Zone engine that seemingly works with everything. In this article, I’ll be sure to share an amazing list of each of the new archetypes, explain their strategy, and provide as much insight as possible. Let’s jump into it!

After many months of hype, the wait is finally over and Lost Origin, the latest set from the Pokémon TCG Sword and Shield era, is here. There are many interesting cards that will for sure shaken up the metagame as we know it but I think we will all agree that there is one that shines above all: Giratina VSTAR. Today, we are going to be exploring the power of this Legendary Pokémon and discuss whether it will become the next tier S in the format or if, on the contrary, the expectations were too high. What’s poppin’ Po Town readers? Are you hyped up for the release of Lost Origin - the newest Pokemon TCG set available? This set reintroduces the Lost Zone mechanic to Standard and there are so many cool cards! I know most players are hyped about the popular VSTAR Pokemon, like Giratina VSTAR [Lost Origin], but there are so many gems in this set. Before we jump into it, I do want to say that some cards will include multiple entries if they are relevant to the combo necessary and some are standalone cards. Alola trainers! Welcome back to the PoTown Store Blog! The Pokemon TCG World Championships are drawing closer than ever, and it's time to get more serious, which is why we are going to take a look at my most updated Palkia VSTAR decklist! 

Embark on a familiar adventure in Pokemon TCG’s latest set, Pokemon GO, which is based on the hit mobile game Pokemon GO! This set has been designed to blend the unique Pokemon found in Pokemon GO with TCG mechanics for the first time ever! There are fan-favourite legendary Pokemon, like Mewtwo VSTAR (Pokemon GO), that will find a home in powerful decks. While there are some obviously powerful cards in this set, like Radiant Blastoise (Pokemon GO), the goal of this article is to showcase some of the unique cards found in this set. Will they ever see the light of day? Honestly, I’m not sure, but Pokemon announced that the upcoming Lost Origins set will be delayed which means that Astral Radiance will be our latest main set and Pokemon GO will be the differentiating factor heading into Worlds. Furthermore, our usual rotation of cards that happens in August / September has been pushed to early 2023 to bring us closer to Japan’s set legality. This might open the realm of needing to play unique concepts to avoid running into Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR (Astral Radiance) mirror matchups at upcoming events. Let’s check out these unique cards.

My name is ZapdosTCG and together we will be taking a look at the top 10 best cards from the new Astral Radiance set. So buckle up and let's absorb some information about the new cards that will change the game.

What’s up Po Town readers? I’ve been testing a bunch of new decks for the past month or so. Of those new decks, Gengar VMAX [Fusion Strike] has been performing better than most other new Pokemon online decks! Gengar VMAX is a deck that I’ve tested for countless hours in the Sword and Shield to Fusion Strike format so I already had a base to work off of, but what if I told you the deck got even better?!?! With many players gravitating towards Arceus VSTAR [Brilliant Stars] and that makes Fear and Panic even better! Fear and Panic does 60x the amount of V, VMAX, VUNION, and VSTAR Pokemon in play - this is huge with so many decks focusing around Arceus VSTAR’s Star Birth Ability. There are a few more cool cards added into this deck so let’s dive into the strategy! If you’re looking for any codes to build this deck, consider picking up some codes from Po Town to get your closer to being built. Let’s get it!

We finally are getting the global release of Brilliant Stars so you’re probably wondering what new deck I’m testing!?! Is it Charizard VSTAR [Brilliant Stars]? How about Arceus VSTAR [Brilliant Stars]? Maybe Torterra [Brilliant Stars]? Actually, I’m loving Mew VMAX [Fusion Strike]! I know a lot of people might not be a fan of this deck since it dominated the Sword and Shield to Fusion Strike format, but that's a good thing right? If a deck has actively been the best deck in format for three months, it’s likely going to continue forward in our Brilliant Stars format. It doesn’t gain much, but it does gain the stability of Ultra Ball [Brilliant Stars], the strength of Choice Belt [Brilliant Stars], and Double Turbo Energy [Brilliant Stars] sounds great too! With all of these little additions making the previous best deck in a format even better, this deck has to be one of the best decks in the Brilliant Stars format!
